Domaine du Fourneau Saint-Michel - a free AIRE for 24 hours
Bruges - By the new coach station. Just off the ring road, I put 'Coach Station' into the sat nav and this took us straight to the AIRE which is next door. You take a right off the ring road, just after the railway station into another road and then immed right into the coach park and then right into the AIRE. Take a ticket at the barrier and pay at the coach park building when you leave. In the winter it is €19 but in summer it is €24. In 'All the Aires' it says there is another over the road but this looked closed. Maybe over the winter. We took the last place on a Saturday but on the Sunday there were plenty. This AIRE is very close to Bruges city centre and also the railway station. For the city centre go out onto the road and turn right. Cross the road at the bridge and over the ring road and then turn left. After a few yards you see a bridge on your right in a park. Go over this bridge and keep going straight and you get to the city centre. Little more than half a mile. The railway station is turn left on the road and walk for a couple hundred yards and it is on your left. We caught a train to Brussels which also goes through Ghent.

Bourgogne-Franche-Comté / Nievre - Chiddes - Ferme de la Chaume - Very small Aire, only 6 camping cars. €3 per night, €2 per person and €2 for electricity.
Centre-Val de Loire/ Eure-et-Loir - Courville-sur-Eure - Camping Tourisme, Avenue Thiers. Municipal and AIRE with 16 spaces. 3500 kg max on Municipal but not sure of AIRE.
Hauts-de-France / Somme - Peronne - In Boulevard Du Fort Carabit. Opp Cam Lake. Pretty. 10 mins into town.
Hauts-de-France / Somme - Long - lovely angled pitches facing lake.
Hauts-de-France / Pas-de-Calais - Rue de Cheval. Pleasant. Quiet. Town 10 mins walk.
Ile de France / Seine et Marne - Disneyland - Disneyland does have its own Aires where you can park your motorhome for the day and stay overnight. It costs 30euros for the day and is free to annual pass holders. It doesn’t have any Electric Hook-up facilities, but it does have waste water disposal, chemical toilet disposal and fresh water. Shower and WC facilities are closed between 7pm-8am.
Normandy / Calvados - Pont D'Ouilly - on the edge of town on the banks of the River Orne. 45 spaces.
Normandy / Orne - Ferrière aux Ètangs - Open all year. Ex municipal. Generous pitches with some hardstanding.
Normandy / Calvados - Honfleur - Aire - 10 mins walk into town.
Nouvelle - Aquitaine / Dordogne - La Roque-Gageac. Parking Place Publique. Park furthest from road. Large MH may have difficulty if car park full. Popular. Village adj.
Occitanie / Lot / Rocamadour / FREE AIRE. Follow signs to P2 the Chateau. Go through car park and AIRE is on right. No facilities but the lift to the lower town is a few yards away and they have a toilet until 1900 hrs. There are rubbish bins at entrance to car park. All the AIRES, Midi Pyrenees. No 10.
Occitanie / Tarn-et-Garonne - Valence-d'Agen - Rue des Tanneries. Adj Canal de Garonne. Agen has an aqueduct. Visit Moissac.
Pays de la Loire / Loire-Atlantique - Saint-Nazaire - The city of Saint-Nazaire has created several motorhome stopovers, in various parts of the town. A new parking and service point for motorhomes has just been opened (October 2015) inside the big car park near the Theatre of Saint-Nazaire.
It has 28 bays for motorhomes. Half an hour’s parking is free, beyond 30 minutes you pay a flat rate per day. The rate is 7 € a day, including electricity, for the first 4 days, and 10 € a day including electricity as from the 5th day. This stopover is not far from the city centre, the harbour, the tourist sites. A free shuttle bus, “Zenibus”, takes you to the city centre every half an hour, with a stop at the market on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings.
Pays de la Loire / Loire-Atlantique - Bois-Jolland - route du Bois-Joalland (near the neighbourhood of L’Immaculée) : 5 places. On the banks of a lake, with nearby shopping facilities.
Pays de la Loire / Loire-Atlantique - Saint-Marc-sur-Mer - parking des Jaunais : 15 places + service point… with the sea just across the road! The service point (water and electricity) has credit card payment; 2015 prices: 4€ for an hour of electricity, 4€ for 10 minutes of water, 7€ for both.
