BELGIUM
Bruges - Camping Memling, Veltemweg 109, 8310 Bruges. Very busy site. 45 mins walk into Bruges.
Domaine du Fourneau Saint-Michel - there is a free AIRE for 24 hours.
Ypres - Jeugdstadion site - Ask for 'emplacement touristique' to get good pitch. Short walk Saturday market and to Menin Gate. Last post played at 20.00. Tyne Cot cemetary nearby.
DENMARK
Fredericksburg - Camping Hillerod 15 mins from town.
FRANCE Region / Department / Town
www.camping-municipal.org shows all the French municipal sites. It's in French but easily understood.
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes / Allier / Braize / Camping du Champ de la Chapelle, 10 Champ de la Chapelle. Very quiet site, in middle of a forest.
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes / Haute-Loire / Lempdes-sur-Allagnon / Campsite Le Pont d'Allagnon. 500m from A75. Nice quiet site. Good facilities. Short walk into village. ACSI site 2069.
Bourgogne-Franche-Comté / Nievre / Carcy La Tour / Camping Municipal Le Port some 45km southeast of Nevers with cycling along the canal. The Canal du Nivernais links the Seine and the Loire rivers.

Bourgogne-Franche-Comté / Nievre / Brèves / Camping Municipal des trois fontaines with basic facilities but quiet and spacious.

Brittany / Côtes-d'Armor / Lanloup / Camping Le Neptune. Pleasat small site. ACSI site 1416.
Brittany / Finisterre / Plouvorn / Camping Municipal, €5 includes wi-fi, electricity, service point.
Brittany / Côtes-d'Armor / Dinan/Taden / Camping International de la Hallerais. Walk down to R. Rance and follow bank to Port de Dinan. ACSI site 1475.
Brittany / Ille-et-Vilaine / Dinard/St. Lunaire / Camping La Touesse. Excellent site. V good facilities. No lids! Superb swimming complex. 25 min walk into Dinard or bus.10 min walk to beach. Ferry from Dinard to St Malo. Only 10 mins. Dinard market Thursday. ACSI site 1394.

Centre-Val de Loire / Eure-et-Loir / Courville-sur-Eure / Camping Tourisme, Avenue Thiers has weight limit of 3500kg. 5 min walk from town.
Centre-Val de Loire / Indre-et-Loire / Amboise / Camping L'lle d'Or à Amboise - On island in river. Stunning views of chateau especially at night.
Centre-Val de Loire / Indre-et-Loire / Vouvray / Camping Le Bec de Cisse. Just East of Tours. On banks of Cisse Quiet and cosy. ACSI site 1950. Reverse polarity.
Centre-Val de Loire / Loir - et - Cher / Blois. Camp les Saules. Chateau a velo cycle route.
Centre-Val de Loire / Indre / Neret. Camping Le Bonhomme. Very friendly. Very quiet in middle of countryside. ACSI site 1930. Not easy to get there but worth it. Get there at right time and you can share a meal with owners Jaqueline and Jan from Holland. Normal polarity.
Centre-Val de Loire / Indre / Éguzon-Chantôme / Camping La Garenne. Eguzon within walking distance. Visit Saint-Benoît-du-Sault, a beautiful village. ACSI 1915

Nouvelle-Aquitaine / Pyrenees/Atlantique / St-Jean-Pied-du-Port / Camp Municipal de Plaza-Berri, Avenue du Fronton. Almost in centre of this lovely town. Start for the Camino de Santiago. Open 31/03 - 01/11.
Nouvelle-Aquitaine / Charente / Condac / Nr Ruffec. Camp Le Réjallant. Elec requires adaptor. Nice site. Large pitches. Easy to locate. Toilets with lids! ACSI site 1610.

Occitanie / Hérault/ Marseillan-Plage / Flower Camping Robinson. Excellent site on beach. Walk into Marseillan-Plage. Bus to Sète. ACSI site 2481.
Pays de la Loire / Maine-et-Loire / Doué-en-Anjou (formerly Concourson sur Layon) / Camping La Vallee des Vignes. Beautiful clean site. On the banks of the river le Layon. 63 spaces.
Pays de la Loire / Loire-Atlantique / La Turballe / Camping Les Chardons Bleus, Boulevard de la Grande Falaise. Nice quiet campsite. Pitches not large. Takes large vehicles easily. Ordinary electric. Toilest v clean. Walk along the beach into La Turballe. Non ACSI.
Pays de la Loire / Loire-Atlantique / Guémené - Penfao. Camping de L'Hermatage. Commune of Beslé sur Vilaine. Camping Municipal. ACSI 1507.
Pays de la Loire / Vendée / La Tranche-sur-Mer / Camping Baie d'Aunis. Half mile to town, 1 min from beach.
Pays de la Loire / Vendée / La Chapelle-Hermier / Camping Le Pin Parasol. A luxury site.
Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur / Alpes-de-Haute-Provence / Dignes-les-Bains - Camping du Bourg. 20 mins walk into Dignes. Bus stop at entrance. ACSI 2585.
GERMANY
Harz - Wernigerode - Camping Alte Waldmuhle.
IRELAND
County Antrim - Belfast - Dundonald touring caravan park. In suburb of Castlereagh. 5 miles from Belfast city centre. Bus into city.
Dublin - Camac Valley Tourist Caravan and Camping Park. You can pay the M50 tolls at reception.
NETHERLANDS
Alkmaar - Camping Alkmaar. www.https://campingalkmaar.nl/english/index.php. Go on The Strand part of the site. It has lovely hedged bays for motorhomes. Things cost though. A shower costs 50c, washing the pots cost 20c and even filling up the motorhome costs 20c for 40 litres. The beauty is the convenience for the lovely city of Alkmaar. Well worth a visit esp. Friday as that is the cheese market. It takes about 30 min to walk into town, bike and your there in 10.
Amsterdam. - Amsterdam City Camp, Papaverweg 50 Noord 4, 1032 KJ Amsterdam. Free wireless internet, NO TOILETS OR SHOWERS, clean and grey water points. Chemical toilet empty point, electricity €4. (2017). Only for motorhomes.
Brielle - Camping de Meeuw - province of South Holland, West from Rotterdam and slightly south on the island of Voorne Putten right on the Brielse Lake and a short walk into Brielle.
Cadzand -(sw corner of Holland) Camping de Molinshoeve - Near Cadzand-Bad and the village of Retrachement in West-Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The beach and nature reserve Het Zwin are less than 1km.
Delft - Camping Delftsehout. http://www.delftsehout.co.uk. 15 min walk into Delft. Lovely city. Adv booking rec.
Valkenburg - Camping Den Driesch. Follow signs. This site is on the top of a hill so a bit steep to get into it. In Valkenburg they have changed the road system so you now after go on a big circle to get to the site but it is signed along this diversion. The lower toilet block needs updating but the upper one is good but small. You can walk into Valkenburg easily. See the caves and the castle. Took a bus into Maastricht which is a lovely town to walk around. Andre Rieu plays concerts there 4 or 5 times a year. Whether it's feasible to catch the bus for one of his concerts and get back, not sure. DYOR.
SPAIN
Andalusia / Huelva - Camping La Aldea outside El Rocio. 20 mins walk to town. Lake near town with visitor centre and bird hides.
Costa del Azahar - Camping Eden
Benicassim - Camping La Torre La Sal 2 at Oropesa del Mar. Close to town. Very busy. All year.
S of Murcia. Camping Los Madriles at Isla Plana. Clean and well run.
Cadiz - Camping Playa las Dunas de San Anton, Playa de la Puntilla. All year. Clean and well run.
SWITZERLAND
Vitznau - Camping Vitznau on Lake Lucerne. 5 mins to town.
