Salford City Council Eccles, Salford, Swinton, Worsley.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority

Bolton Council

No information for MH.



Bury Council

Metrolink stations. Most have no height restriction. Car parks have no height information but do have a postcode.



Oldham Council

Unfortunately there is no provision for motorhomes in any off-street Council- owned car parks.



Rochdale Borough Council

No MH information. Car parks show a postcode but no height information.



Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council

Motorhomes may be parked in some council car parks depending on the height and width of the vehicle.
Overnight sleeping in the vehicles is not permitted – nor is the heating, cooking or preparing of food.

Stockport - Hazel Grove, Buxton Road SK7 6AF a privately run park and ride has a height barrier but a call to Stagecoach Manchester on 01612 733 377 and they will open the barrier for you. From DB an MMM reader.



Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council

In the borough of Tameside large vehicles such as motor homes and caravans are not permitted to park in council car park.



Trafford Council

Please note that Trafford Council car parks are unable to accommodate oversized vehicles or motorhomes.
Trafford Centre - Leave the M60 ring road at Junction 9 and follow the signs for the Trafford Centre. Use the large car parks that are immediately on your left i.e. on the John Lewis side of the Mall ( you can't miss it). There are no height barriers. Parking is free. If you leave the M60 at any other junction you will find height barriers on the approach to their Multi storey car park. PB



Wigan Council

In 2015 a question was asked about MH and Wigan Pier and overnight parking. Nothing appears to have been done as there is no further information about MH on the web site.
